about

Full of the jingle jangle of life, quirk and such…
“Little legs come running” is what I remember my daughters’ kindy teacher singing to call the children in from play. The title is an acknowledgement of the wonderful journey teaching and parenthood is, and other specific personal and abstract connections, it’s also one of the lyrics in This Road.

Dots Click is a spacious post-rock instrumental. For me, it’s all about how things fall in place. Saddle up your camel, A million miles away and Mamu Lamu are more in the electronic remix genre. This Road and Love are emotive songs with orchestral-ish arrangements. Monsta has the afrobeat feel, and How they come and go is a short electro-acoustic montage. I think of it as the soundtrack to your brain: what your synapses might sound like as thoughts arrive and depart. Toning and Jimjams close the album in a more ambient instrumental style.

PS You might also like to check out thethinfilm.bandcamp.com if you like your music spacey. It’s an album Anthony DenHartog and I made with many special friends.
